The Long Day

Wow has today been a long day. It has rained and rained and rained. So I have been stuck in the house with all the people and the other 4 legged fur babies as mom calls us. You know what makes me sick, that cat! That cat makes me sick. He thinks that he owns this place or something. I mean, really now! I can’t take it, so I have to chase him, OFTEN. Mom fusses but that’s just the way it is. One day im going to get that cat. Mom even fussed at him today. I made him mad and he peed on Mom’s new recliner. Boy was she mad. I got out of the house for a little bit and played in the rain and went and checked on the chickens and you know what, you got it, that stupid cat followed me. UGH! Can’t he get his own life. Well, I will keep you guys up to date on the cat but for now i’v got to go and chase him away.

TREATS

My day has been complete. I have found the best “treats” ever. Mom calls them treats, I just call it YUMMY! You know what I found? It’s this squishy yellow sweet wonderful thing that I beg for. My mom laughs at me and says this funny word banana every time I start jumping and twirling around. All I know is that this is some good stuff. This has by far been the best day EVER! I got to walk with mom (Even though she only has 2 legs, she is my world). I even got to chase the chickens today and that’s always so fun. My little sister helped me chase the chickens and we ran them into the pen. Mom fussed at us but it was worth it. Man my life is awesome. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow holds. I may even get some more of my new favorite treat. I think I’m going to go dream about some of that thing called banana now.

Gone to the Store

Gone to the Store

Wow! It’s been a busy day. Mom told me that we had to take Nana to get her car. Guess what, I got to ride and oh boy I am so happy. Mom keeps on telling me what a good boy I was while I sat in the back seat like she asked. I love riding and going with mom and I really love getting praises. After she dropped Nana off she said I had been so good that she would take me to the store so I could pick out a prize.
Mom took me into the store and let me pick out my prize. Mom walked me around the store so I could see what all was there. I had so much fun. There was this bird there that scared me. It keep looking at me and squawking loudly. Mom had to carry me to another aisle so I wouldn’t shake. Guess what was on that aisle? You got it. The toys! Mom put several different toys down for me to choose from She put some chewy toys and some stuffed animals. I picked out a stuffed duck that makes this awesome squeak that I love to chew on. Stuffed animals are always my favorite and even better if they make noise. Before we checked out mom got me a new collar and leash. I am all kind of styling now. Oh and I have to tell you that mom bought some new friends for me while she was there. There are all kinds of animals at the store and my mom is such an animal lover she just couldn’t leave one. So she got me 2 new friends that she calls rabbits. I like to go to their cage and whine and try to lick them. Mom tells me NO a lot now. That makes me sad. Mom finally told me that as long as I don’t try to eat them that I can play.
After such a busy day I am worn out and Mom said that she has to take a nap for work so we snuggled up and got some rest. I can’t wait to see what fun we can have tomorrow.

Harley the Pomeranian

Today has been a very exhausting day. I moved into my new home with this awesome family. My old family had to move off to Guam and couldn’t take me with them. I am happy and sad and scared. Really, really scared. See I am used to being with just my old mom and dad and they haven’t been married long and do not have kids. It has just been me and some other dogs and 2 cats (that are fun to chase around at times).  Life has been laid back and pretty quiet.  My old dad joined the Air Force and now I have been adopted by his aunt who has 3 loud, wild and crazy kiddos. Wow, I didn’t know just how quiet my life really was!  So here it is, I’m sharing my new life with everyone so that you can laugh and cry with me (and even shake sometimes when those crazy boys are being loud and crazy).  Hope you join me daily to see what life is like for this somewhat shy and very mouthy large orange fuzzy with a Mohawk Pomeranian named Harley.
